Construct New Clinical Lab Expansion (VA-18-00152139)
The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business construction company to provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment and qualified supervision required for the Construct New Clinical Lab for Surgical Expansion project #652-319 located at the H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 East Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia, 23249.
In general, the project is a partial renovation and an addition to the existing medical center building of approximately 18,050 square feet. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with construction drawings and specifications prepared by AES Group, Inc., and completed within 680 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes final Inspection and cleanup.
The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The drawings and specifications will be uploaded as part of the solicitation on or about 08/15/2019. A date and time for a pre-proposal conference / site visit will be stated in the solicitation.
