Conservation to Support Digitization of General and Special Collection Library Material
On behalf of Library of Congress/FEDLINK customer, the Library of Congress Office of Strategic Initiatives, FEDLINK intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) on or about July 3, 2014 to existing Basic Ordering Agreement holders who qualified for this procurement process by responding to RFPs LCFDL11R7900 and LCFDL13R7900 - "FEDLINK Preservation Services" to acquire conservation consultation, treatment, and rehousing products and services in conjunction with the digital conversion of a variety of general and special collection materials. Written responses should include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability. No telephone calls will be accepted. Ref: LC14QFP012-LOSI.
FEDLINK is a nationwide interagency consortium sponsored by the Library of Congress. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the Library of Congress Fiscal Operations Improvement Act, P.L. 106-481, Section 103 (2 U.S.C. § 182c.).
