Conservation Practice Data System
The Washington State Conservation Commission (WSCC) is releasing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to identify an Apparently Successful Vendor (ASV) to provide a web-based conservation practice data system. The vendor selected will provide a long-term system to continue the Watershed Data Pilot Project (WDPP) implemented in 2006 and currently in use. WDPP piloted a single web based repository for the state's Conservation Districts' (CDs) habitat restoration practices implemented by CD sponsored projects, and data collected during implementation and effectiveness monitoring on the practices' contributions to watershed and habitat health. This successful pilot system led to funding by the legislature for a long term solution. The long term solution will be referred to in this RFP as the Conservation Practice Data System (CPDS).
