Coney Island Amusement Operator
New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking proposals for the redevelopment and long-term lease of an open amusement park and/or for ancillary entertainment attractions at three properties located in the Coney Island neighborhood in the Borough of Brooklyn (collectively, the Sites). This is an opportunity to develop the centerpieces of a thriving, iconic urban entertainment destination. NYCEDC intends to select a developer on the basis of factors stated in the RFP, which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, the qualifications of the development team, the proposals consistency with the overall City goals, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, and the proposed financial terms.
