Cone Collection
The Black Hills National Forest intends to issue a Request For Quotes (RFQ) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for cone collecting services in the Counties of Custer, Lawrence, and Pennington, SD. The cones shall be collected from ponderosa pine trees. Bid item for approximately 600 bushels with three option lines to collect approximately 200 bushels for each line. More than one award may be made from this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310 with a size standard of $7.5 million. Project is total Small Business Set-Aside. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals to perform all work necessary to select trees (if required) and to pick, bag, label, and deliver cones to the delivery point. Contractors must be registered in the System for award Management (SAM.gov) to be eligible for award.
