This is a notice of intent that Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) Robins Air Force Base anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Purchase Order to acquire:

A/C Compressor for the quantity of (2) for the following ND number: 4310ND163755LYK, PNSSRs 64314 and 64318 P/N 1034192. The end item for the equipment is for the repair of a compressor refrigeration used on the B52 Aircraft. This will be a one-time purchase only.


The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, TLD America Corporation (CAGE Code: 6L481) under authority of FAR 6.302-1. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 15 days after issuance of solicitation, or 30 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered.


Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Statement of Capabilities to contracting officer. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete the contract based upon an assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.


All proposals received within thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government.

If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
