The Organization is inviting proposals from professionals to assist in developing and implementing a public education and outreach plan to advance the Sustainable Strategies. The goal of this solicitation is to engage a qualified consultant or team of qualified consultants to prepare and assist in implementation of a plan to introduce the Sustainability Strategies to the public, to educate the public as to the challenges and opportunities set forth and to build a public consensus for the
Sustainable Strategies that will lead to a sustainable future for Long Island.
The desired and anticipated outcomes from the education and outreach will
be raised public awareness, increased public participation and support in the
regional planning process.
