Competitive Sealed Proposal for District-Wide Copiers
The El Paso Independent School District is seeking proposals for a four (4) year agreement, to
provide three (3) configurations of copiers, as specified herein. The District expects vendors to
review the current number of copiers, types and configuration of copiers, volume of copies and
costs and offer the District a proposal that improves the current set-up (i.e. consolidation and/or
reduction of equipment) to maximize efficiency, etc. Attached is a list of copiers and their
locations as identified in January 2009. Vendor proposal should be inclusive of a full service
maintenance agreement including all supplies and costs per copy. The District is seeking two (2)
proposal options for consideration, lease/purchase and rental. The District will select one
proposal option (i.e. lease/purchase or rental) and may select more than one vendor depending on
the proposals received and the best value to the District. Upon award, the District prefers to issue
one purchase order that includes lease/rental and maintenance. Vendors may provide propoosals
for both lease/rental options or lease or rental.
