Community Solar Program
The program is looking to expand its impacts in the area of outreach & education. Towards that end we are looking to install SMUD SunFlowers at a number of local schools, specifically targeting middle schools, in our service territory. The SunFlower will be a multiple axis adjustable, PV pole mounted array. This array will be used as a teaching tool by the local schools to bring real world application & hands on experience in science, mathematics, etc. to members of the community at a young age.
