Community Policing Program Support Tajikistan

The U.S. Department of State (DoS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) office in Dushanbe oversee a multi-million dollar assistance program dedicated to improving Tajikistan’s law enforcement capabilities, border security, counternarcotics, and the rule of law.  Over the years, INL has worked with Tajikistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the largest of the country’s law enforcement agencies, providing technical assistance in course development and teaching at the MIA Training Center in Dushanbe and through the establishment of seventeen Community Policing Partnership Teams (CPPTs) around the country.
