Community Facilities Demonstration Project
The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (Agency or SFRA) is inviting firms to submit qualifications to design, manufacture, and install an approximately 7,500 square foot sustainable design modular type pre-fabricated building to be installed on Parcel A of the Hunters Point Shipyard (Shipyard). The building will serve as a Community Facilities Demonstration Project (Community Facilities Demonstration Project or Demonstration Project) providing community-based public meeting and event space as well as support a range of potential other uses, including arts and arts education, job training facilities, recreation and open space-type uses. The site improvements and the building need to be designed with maximum flexibility to accommodate a range of uses that will change over time.
