The USDA Forest Service, Minnesota Shared Services Contracting Unit, Superior National Forest anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal on a one year type contract. The intent of the contract is to secure Common Stand Exam services required for the Superior National Forest for the time period of August 1, 2014 - September 30, 2015. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government Furnished), and all incidentals to perform all work necessary for Common Stand Exam.
The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about June 16, 2014. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The Government may award one or more contracts as a result of this Request for proposals. Proposals will be taken and awarded on Common Stand Exam Project. The resulting contract(s) will be for one year.
Three Common Stand Exam Projects are being solicited.(1) Mesabi CSE Project, Laurentian Ranger District, Aurora, MN. (2) Jeannette CSE Project, LaCroix Ranger District, Cook, MN. (3) TomaInga CSE Project, Tofte, MN. The Mesabi CSE Project period of performance will begin August 1, 2014. Both the Jeannette CSE Project and the TomaInga CSE Project have period of performances beginning June 1, 2015.
NAICS: 115310, the size standard is $7 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal, and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Solicitation number: AG-63A9-S-14-0032. Deadline for proposals will be July 15, 2014.
