The United States Coast Guard (USCG) National Strike Force (NSF) requires contractor technical and administrative support services for a firm fixed price Commercial Truck Driving Training. The course objective is to prepare students to pass the California, Alabama, and New Jersey state examination requirements for a Commercial Class "A" license. These licenses are required for NSF Strike Team (NSFST) member transportation of a large assortment of highly specialized heavy response equipment. In addition, the course must prepare students to proficiently navigate safely through cities, mountain roads, tunnels, interstate highways, and multi-day driving evolutions. Drivers must be prepared and confident to drive in day/night conditions, high winds, snow, ice, sleet, and dry roads, thus Skid Training must be a part of the core training. The vendor must meet 88732 Federal Register Vol. 81, NO. 236 Minimum Training Requirements for Entry-level Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators, Final Rule effective 06 Feb 2017 standards and certifications to host the NSF Commercial Truck Drivers License Course.
