Commercial Project Grant Program
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), provides the State of Maine with economic stimulus funds for job creation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, weatherization and workforce development. These are one- time funds, which must be spent or committed within two years.
This Request for Proposals is the second and final round of funding for the Commercial Project Grant program. A total of $600,000 was awarded in the first round, leaving $1,400,000 for this round. Efficiency Maine is requesting Proposals for Commercial Project Grants to be funded by ARRA. Proposals meeting the requirements of this Request for Proposals (RFA) may be eligible to receive funding of up to $50,000 for individual applicant grants. This is a matching grant program wherein the applicant is required to fund the project with an amount equal to or greater than the grant amount.
