Commercial Air (CAIR) Transportation for Domestic Mail
The purpose of this solicitation is to purchase CAIR Transportation Services for domestic mail to and from destinations within the contiguous (CONUS) forty-eight (48) states as well as non-contiguous (O-CONUS) states to include points to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories and possessions, as deemed necessary.
This solicitation is issued in accordance with the Postal Service's Supplying Principles and Practices. Potential offerors are asked to submit proposals that satisfy all requirements included in the attached solicitation documents. Please reference "Provision 4-1 Addendum: Required Information," for detailed information regarding proposal content and submission requirements.
A Pre-proposal Conference will be held at Postal Service Headquarters and via WebEx on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. All potential offerors are encouraged to attend. All planned participants must notify the contracting officer of their intent to attend the pre-proposal conference in person, no later than Monday, July 3, 2017. Offerors must supply all required proposal information to be considered for contract award. Proposals must be received no later than 5:00pm Eastern, on Monday, July 31, 2017.
