COMFRC's 06 November 2019 Information Exchange Day event will be hosted in the BLDG 325 Vertical Lift Training Room which is located on the NORTH EAST side of base. As you enter the main gate to Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island from TRAVEL NORTH PASSED FLAG CIRCLE, TURN RIGHT ON UTGOFF. BLDG 325 IS LOACTED ON THE LEFT- CORNER OF UTGOFF AND SAUFLEY ST. (see attached map).


Check-in will begin at 7:00a PST. Upon check-in participants will sign in the schedule of events that are planned for the day.


Transportation will be provided during the event when we are traveling to multiple locations throughout the day for things such as the tour and to the Food Court for lunch.


The SECNAV Form, the FRCSW Form and Mass Upload Request Spreadsheet attached to this post shall be returned to William Fields at william.k.fields@navy.mil and Angela Ingram Smith angela.ingramsmith@navy.mil no later than noon PST on 30 October 2019. These are required for all participants.


Should you experience any trouble gaining access to the base the morning of the event there will be courtesy vans located at the main gate at 0630, please call the following POC's who can assist you with any issues that arise.

The Information Exchange Day will be held on 06 November 2019 at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) in San Diego, CA. Below is the DRAFT agenda and instructions to register. As the agenda below is a DRAFT it is subject to change.


0700 - 0800 - Registration

0830 - 1015 - Technical Requirement Overview
1015 - 1100 - Questions and Answer Session
1100 - 1200 - Networking Session
1200 - 1300 - Lunch

REGISTRATION AND VETTING


All Information Exchange Day participants are required to register in advance for this event. Participants who plan on attending must notify all of the individuals listed in this post of their intent to attend via e-mail. POC's are listed below. Naval Base Coronado (NBC) and FRCSW Security Department requires that all visitors attending be properly vetted before given access to the base. Every individual participant must complete a SECNAV 5512/1 form and return to FRCSW no later than 30 October 2019 to allow enough time to complete the vetting process. Two forms of identification (i.e. Driver's License number, Social Security Card, Passport ID, etc.) must be noted on the SECNAV 5512/1 form. Participants will be required to show ID once they arrive. Please note that all initials and signatures must be "wet" signatures. Digital signatures will not be accepted. Please complete the required security documents (attached to this post). Once completed please submit to the POCs listed in this post prior to the deadline.


Once registration has been requested through the Contracting Office and the SECNAV Form 5512/1 has been received by FRCSW, a base map and directions will be provided. The DRAFT Agenda for this event is provided above, but please take into account that individuals will need to allow time to check in at NBC's Visitor Control Center, located in Bldg. 660, prior to the 7:00a.m. check-in for the event.
