This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR Subpart 12.603 (Streamlined solicitation for commercial items), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Price quotes will be accepted no later than (NLT) 23 May 2014 (1100am), per FAR Subpart 5.203. The Government requires the following: A Firm Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment type, single award contract for the supply and delivery of 10,000 gallons (+ or - depending on award price per gallon) of #2 Fuel Oil (Ultra Low Sulfur) to support 5 emergency generators for Arlington Hall Station (AHS) 1 and 2 (101 and 111 S. George Mason Dr, Arlington, VA, 22204). We anticipate award to be made by 27 May 2014. The awarded vendor will be required to deliver NLT 30 May 2014 to both AHS 1 and 2.
This requirement shall be solicited as a Competitive, Small Business Set-Aside, under FAR subpart 13.102 (b). The Government anticipates awarding a contract based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). No exceptions, late submissions will not be considered.
