The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) in support of the Helicopter Program Office (HPO) is seeking information on interested contractors that have the capability to deliver a Crew Chief Part Task Trainer (CCPTT) to efficiently train HH-60W personnel in their assigned missions. The Government expects the offeror to produce this purpose-built device in accordance with the Government-provided HH-60W CCPTT System Specification.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) AND SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (SSS). This is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 - Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (October 1997) and is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. If a solicitation is released the Government anticipates a FAR Part 16 task order under the Training System Acquisition (TSA) III multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Acquisition and Interim Contractor Support (ICS) support requirements. This RFI/SSS does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI/SSS; all costs associated with responding to this request will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued; however, the Government is only interested in responses from serious offerors who have the capability and intend to bid on an RFP if one were to be issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
