COLUMBIA Class Bearing Support Structure
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to issue Solicitation No. N00167-19-R-0006, COLUMBIA Class Bearing Support Structure (BSS). This requirement is for the assembly and manufacturing (A&M) plan development and fabrication for the delivery of two COLUMBIA Class Bearing Support Structure Inseparable Assemblies. The NAICS code will be 336611 - Shipbuilding and Repairing, size standard 1,250 employees. The PSC will be 2010 - Ship and Boat Propulsion Components.
The resultant contract will be a Definite Quantity Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract with an ordering period of five years.
It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued the week of January 28, 2019. Interested firms may view and/or download the solicitation, attachments, and any amendments only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov once it is posted. It is the prospective Offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO website for changes to this notice, announcements, or amendments to the solicitation.
Interested firms are advised to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to submission of proposals.
This pre-solicitation notice is for the purpose of informing industry that the BSS solicitation will be posted to FBO.gov. This notice is not a request for proposal. Proposals submitted as a result of this pre-solicitation notice will not be accepted and the Government will not reimburse for a proposal/response provided.
