Collection Services
It is the intent of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Director to
enter into a contract with a qualified service offeror that has capabilities and resources for
name and address acquisition, noticing and collection to assist and complement the
Emergency Medical Department, and their efforts to control and prevent loss of revenue
from programs.
This Request for Proposals ("RFP") reflects a strong commitment to maximize the
recoveries of current County revenue, create and review new ideas for revenue protection
and maintain verifiable methods of review that will ensure the integrity of services selected.
The revenue collection process represents an extremely visible and sensitive area of
public contact for County Government.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) shall supply individuals with delinquent accounts.
The term of this Contract shall be for a one (1) year period, with an extension to be
offered up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods subject to approval of
County. The Contract Agreement will not exceed five (5) years.
