Collaborative Problem Solving
All schools are required to implement a three tiered approach to addressing academic, social, emotional and behavioral issues called Response to Intervention by the fall of 2012. The Collaborative Problem Solving approach is a scientific data based method that will help schools to guide the selection, use and evaluation of academic and behavioral interventions. The CPS approach will give schools specific guidelines in developing educational plans for students as required in Response to Intervention.
