THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

 

Solicitation number M0026319Q0049 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using the commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Source Selection procedures are in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97 and DFARS Publication 20171228.

 

The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a Cold Tub Ice Box. This solicitation is issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside and the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339113 with a size standard of 750 employees.

 

All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation

Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in SF 1449 M0026319Q0049 attached to this synopsis. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotes in accordance with

FAR Part 12 and additional instructions, conditions, and notices to offerors provided in the attached Section L of the SF1449. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and its addendum provision.

 

The basis for award is lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). The Government award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for the technical acceptability factor as outlined in Section M of the attached SF1449. The successful offeror must have an acceptable past performance rating. Offers shall be ranked in order of lowest price to highest price. The lowest- prices offer shall be evaluated first. If the lowest-prices offer is technically acceptable, no other offers will be evaluated.

 

Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer.  Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.  All other additional contract requirement for this acquisition can be found in the attached SF 1449.

 

Any/all questions on this RFQ shall be received by this office No later than 20 September at 9:00 A.M. Eastern.

 

The closing date and time for this solicitation is 23 September 2019 at 11:00 AM Eastern.
