The Energy Policy Act of 2005 appropriated funding for the Minerals
Management Service (MMS) of the U.S. Department of the Interior to
issue/award grants to states and coastal political subdivisions to fund eligible
projects through the Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) which benefit
the natural coastal environment. Based on information released by the MMS,
$14, 162,037.31 has been allocated to the County Commission
(COUNTY) as a coastal political subdivision. It is the desire of the COUNTY to
participate in the CIAP program and seek funding of eligible projects.
The COUNTY is requesting competitive sealed proposals based on
qualifications for the purpose of selecting a qualified consultant with which to
negotiate an agreement to provide Grant Planning, Project Administration, and
other Professional Services, as requested, for participation in the CIAP program.
