Cloud Services (C2S)
The Naval Reserach Llaboratory (NRL) code 7400 intends to contract on an Other than Full and Open Basis with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Seattle WA. for cloud services including virtual machines, storage, network bandwidth, and IP management.
NRL's web services capabilities have been transitioned to National Geospatial Intelligence Agency which is being migrated to the US Inttelligence Community (IC). IC's web-based services are being migrated to the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) cloud computing environmnet which operates on Amazon AWS infrasture. Therfore, the AWS cloud computing environmnet is the only acceptable development and testing environment for capabilities being transitioned to C2S.
