NeighborWorks America (NeighborWorks) is seeking a consultant or firm to develop a business plan for a new online Client Management System (CMS) expected to launch in 2015. The new CMS will replace the current CounselorMax system and provide nonprofits conducting financial education and coaching, homeownership education and counseling, and foreclosure counseling with a contemporary, user-friendly client management tool to efficiently manage workflows and effectively serve their clients. (This engagement is separate from, but related to a larger series of engagements, which includes a strategic market and product assessment, business requirements discovery, a technology solution analysis and eventual product development that will result in a market leading solution for the housing counseling and financial coaching industry.)
The selected firm should have demonstrated business strategy development and planning experience, preferably related to technology tools and products. Current knowledge of the housing counseling and/or community development industry and familiarity with enterprise-focused nonprofit organizations are desired. The selected firm will work in close collaboration with NeighborWorks Service Group leaders and management to complete the business planning process. The analysis and business plan is expected to be completed by no later than July 30, 2014.
