Clearing, Grading & Concrete Site Work
SITE PREPARATION
A. This item shall consist of clearing, grading, and site work in preparation for the construction of a metal storage building on site. Price to include the removal and disposal of materials, for all areas within the limits designated on the plans or as required by the Superintendent of Parks.
B. Clearing shall consist of clearing the surface of the ground of the designated areas of all obstructions, curbing, asphalt concrete or such material which, in the opinion of the Superintendent of Parks is unsuitable for the foundation of required structures.
C. Grading shall consist of the contractor bringing the designated area up to grade according to the site plan specifications.
D. Price includes removal of existing light pole. Electrical wiring will be maintained by an electrician designation by the owner.
CONCRETE WORK
Concrete slab for storage building at Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center (40 x 150 x 5)
A. Purchase and install all concrete, insulation, vapor barrier, bolts, rebar, hairpins, 6 mil poly per foundation plans and building plans.
B. Build and set anchor bolt templates per foundation and building plans
C. Saw cut all control joints and fill with joint filler
D. Pour all sidewalks and curbing as per site design
E. Provide underground drainage devices and inlets as per plan and tie in new drainage system to existing one.
F. Pour 3,000 psi concrete and work to a smooth finish to the elevation as per foundation detail and specifications.
