Clean Exhaust Systems
The Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to announce the release of the attached Request For Quote (RFQ) for the preventive maintenance and cleaning of seven (7) kitchen exhaust systems at the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), located at 1400 Black Horse Hill Rd., Coatesville PA., 19320.
The RFQ is set-aside for Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business concerns.
Please email your quote to Mr. John W. Evans at john.evans15@va.gov no later than noon Eastern, Friday, 27 October, 2017.

All interested contractors are encouraged to attend the site visit. It is advisable not to simply send a sub-contractor to represent your interest. Please refrain from asking questions at that time. Contracting requests you formulate your questions and send them to john.evans15@va.gov via email, by noon Eastern, Monday, 23 October, 2017. Questions received after that date and time may not be answered. Government responses to these questions will be answered via an amendment with all questions and answers being published simultaneously.
Please prepare your quote consistent with FAR provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors/Commercial Items in paragraph E.1 of the RFQ.
Note the following from that provision:
Quotes shall be submitted on the SF 1449;
Complete Price/cost schedule in section B;
Provide past performance information to include three (3) recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, dollar amounts, periods of performance, points of contact with telephone numbers, POC email addresses, and other relevant information).
