Class B Tire Site Remediation Project

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Department of Environmental Protection, State of Maine, is seeking proposals to abate hazards at tire stockpile sites in up to 10 locations across Maine. All tires discarded at the sites must be removed from the site, processed into useable products for which the Bidder has sufficient markets, and must be utilized.

Sealed proposals must be clearly marked "Department of Environmental Protection - 2007 Class B Tire Site Remediation Project Bid", and must be received by October 23, 2007 at 2 P.M. at the Division of Purchases, Burton M. Cross Building, 4th Floor; 111 Sewall Street; 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0009. Proposals will be publicly opened and the name of the bidders announced at the date, time and place specified above. No other information will be made public prior to evaluation and contract award notification. Proposals received after the time and date specified will not be considered. There are no exceptions. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept part of one or more proposals.
