Civil engineering consultancy services
The appointed consultant will be required to:
Technically review and verify the Feasibility Stage design prior to its further development.
Implement a Restricted Procurement Process to select suitably qualified Contractors.
Develop the design sufficient to obtain lump sum fixed price tenders based on the Irish Governments Public works Contract for Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Employer
Obtain Contractor Tenderers and report on an appointment recommendation
Prepare Contract Documents
Act as Employers Representative in accordance with the Construction Contract
Represent the Client during the lifetime of the appointment on matters relating to this project up to and including Handover Stage including the assessment and validation of operating and maintenance manuals, commissioning certificates, completion of outstanding work items, final account, defect correction surveys and sign off
It is intended that the Consultant will act as Project Supervisor Design Process and fulfil all related statutory requirements as part of a separate appointment.
