Citywide Lighting Ordinance
The City is inviting proposals for an experienced consultant firm (Consultant) to prepare a Citywide Lighting Ordinance. The City is considering two types of lighting ordinances: a Model Lighting Ordinance based upon the June 15, 2011 Model Lighting Ordinance (MLO) template prepared by the International Dark Sky Association and Illuminating Engineering Society (IDA/IES) and a Pattern Lighting Ordinance based on the Pattern Outdoor Lighting Code (USA) Standard ver. 2.0, based on the USA Pattern Code contained within the IDA Outdoor Lighting Code Handbook, published by the International Dark-Sky Association in 2000.
