City of Farmington Hills - Preliminary Engineering RFP
The City of Farmington Hills will receive written proposals for providing Preliminary Engineering
(Design), Construction Engineering and Testing Services for the resurfacing of 14 Mile Road from
Drake Road to Farmington Rd.(1.0 mile), of 14 Mile Road from Farmington Rd. to Orchard Lake
Rd.(1.0 mile) and of Farmington road from 13 Mile to 14 Mile Rd (0.67 mile).
The projects will consist of the rehabilitation and resurfacing of three (3) sections of major roadway,
including some drainage improvements, utility structure adjustments, concrete curb installation,
pavement widening, pavement marking installation and landscape restoration. The projects are
scheduled for the May, 2008 MDOT Bid Letting and will use STPU-RRR funding though the
MDOT's Local Agency Programs (LAP) office.
