Chyron dual channel graphics system
The Universitys Educational Communications Center (ECC) is seeking bids to replace one or more of its existing Chyron Duet, dual-channel, standard definition graphics (character generator) systems (henceforth referred to as CG in this document).
Currently, the ECC operates and maintains two (2) Chyron Duet CG systems, one located in the studio control area at Dole Hall on the K-State campus, and one in a mobile production truck. Both are 2-channel, SDI standard definition (SD) units, with Lyric software and an internal clip player. It is the intent of this procurement to replace at least one (1) of these CG systems with a functionally similar, modern, dual-channel CG system. It is also the intent of this procurement to ensure any equipment purchased can be upgraded from SD to HD in the future.
