MARKET RESEARCH FOR SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS DUE BY 2:00 PM ON June 30, 2017. 


 


THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.  This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice.  No solicitation or specifications are available at this time.  When and if a solicitation is issued, it will be issued under a different solicitation number at a later time. 


 


The General Services Administration (GSA) New England is seeking HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), 8(a), and all other Small Businesses capable of General Construction capabilities to perform the requirement as follows: 


 


Replace two 70- ton reciprocating chillers including all related controls. Both are located in the basement of the Montpelier Federal Building located in Montpelier, Vermont. The existing chillers are being replaced with energy efficient water cooled screw chillers.


 


Interested firms should provide sufficient information to allow an informed evaluation and decision to ascertain if there is enough competition to solicit this requirement as either an SDVO, EDWOSB or HUBZone Small Business Set-aside.  The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000.  The NAICS code for this service is 238220.  The Small Business Size standard is $15 MILLION.

This Sources Sought notice is for the purpose of determining the availability of Contractors and not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal for this requirement will be issued at a later date under a different solicitation number.
