Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Family Day Care Homes Meal Claims Feasibility Study

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) anticipates awarding a performance based firm fixed price contract for a contractor to develop a method(s) of measuring improper payments due to meal claiming errors in CACFP family day care homes.
The purpose of this study is to establish a method for accurately estimating meals served at FDCHs and comparing those to meals claimed and calculating error, and tests the viability of this method on a sample of FDCHs for the purpose of estimating the rate of improper payments for CACFP meal claims.
