Check Collection Services
The City is requesting proposals from qualified firms to assess and provide Check Collection Services for the recovery of returned checks.
Annually, the City Treasurer's Office will refer approximately 200 returned checks with an average age of 7 days and an average dollar amount of $145 to the Check Collection Services Agency.
The City Check Collection Service contract may be written for a term of one year, with the possibility of renewing the contract, under the same terms and conditions, for two additional one-year terms.
