DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, and associated labor necessary to perform chartered bus services when, as and if scheduled by the Ordering Officer at any time during any calendar day. The Contractor must be duly authorized to operate and perform services required in the Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) in accordance with the terms and conditions under this contract and applicable Government of Japan (GOJ) laws and trade practices. Offerors will propose a rate of commercial type buses with minimum capacity of 45 passengers, excluding auxiliary seats/folding seats, as defined in the draft Performance-Based Statement (PWS). All costs of operation under this contract shall be borne by the Contractor, including but not limited to, tolls, licenses, costs of overtime, Sunday or holiday work, or for operations during stormy or inclement weather.

EXPECTED PERFORMANCE PERIOD: Base Period from 1 Aug 15 thru 31 Jul 2016 with four one-year options


AREA OF PERFORMANCE: Performance shall be origin-destination at Camp Fuji, Gotemba-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture. Going to and from the following location; Shizuoka, Kanagawa, Tokyo, Chiba, Niigata, Miyagi, Iwate, Shiga, Yamaguchi, and other points for USMC operations and exercises within the mainland and Kyushu.


NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRYOF JAPAN.
