Certified Weed Seed Free Hay Delivered
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ or www.acquisition.gov.
This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the small business size standard is $.75 Mil. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 111940 Hay Farming.
Solicitation number Q948503 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide 90 tons of Certified Noxious Weed seed free hay delivered to the Spotted Bear Ranger Station hay barn for the Flathead National Forest in Montana. Small square bales must meet the attached Specifications with a performance period of 1 July - 30 Sep 2019 with one option year, to include the optional task of unloading and stacking at the barn location.
The awarded purchase order will be a firm fixed price. One award will be made to the Quoter whose quote, as determined by the Contracting Officer is most advantageous to the Government, considering but not limited to factors such as price, past performance, and technical capability to accomplish this type of work in accordance with FAR 52.212-2.
Contract Period will include a base year and one Option year. Option years are exercised at the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 17.207.
The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
Prospective awardees must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a Federal Contract.
