3. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Additionally, the Government will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.


4. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with solicitation number 129JGP19Q0130.


5. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 Effective 12 Jul 2019.


6. Contractor Responsibility: The Contractor shall provide all items necessary--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the required items according to the specifications and SOW.


7. Description of Work: The purpose of this contract is to masticate forest fuels comprised of dead trees, dead and live brush, fallen trees and brush, slash, and debris to reduce hazardous fuels, improve efficiency and safety of future wildfire suppression operations, and prepare sites for natural regeneration located on the Western Divide Ranger District with the Sequoia National Forest.
