Catastrophic Incident Planning

The City is seeking to enhance current efforts related to catastrophic
planning and resource management by hiring a consultant(s) to assist in the analysis of existing
capabilities and the subsequent development of new plans and/or updating of existing plans and
processes.
2.1 OBJECTIVES
The following objectives will be met with regard to catastrophic incident planning and the scaled
events proceeding such an incident:
2.2.1 Identify resource response and recovery needs.
2.2.2 Perform a hazard-specific capability assessment, including resource shortfalls.
2.2.3 Close capability and resource gaps.
2.2.4 Develop processes and procedures.
2.2.5 Develop/update plans and processes.
