Caserma Ederle and Del Din Indoor Ranges, Vicenza, Italy Maintenance Services
The Regional Contracting Office Vicenza intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Type contract for maintenance services of the Indoor Range located at Caserma Ederle and Del Din installations, Vicenza, Italy. The sole purpose of this PSN is to publicize the upcoming solicitation and to solicit the highest number of firms.
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel necessary to ensure firing range maintenance and lead abatement services are performed at Caserma Ederle and Del Din, Vicenza, Italy indoor firing range; in a manner that will maintain satisfactory facility condition to perform firing range operations. Cleaning and maintenance frequencies will be established in the solicitation.
Tasks will include but not limited to standard maintenance, preventive maintenance, system testing, and cleaning:
Climate control and ventilation system for air supply and extraction system
Target sled/electronic target system for moving targets
Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) detection and alarm systems
Fire Detection system
Lighting systems to include emergency lighting
Intercom/ audio transmission signaling of entry
Absorption bullet barriers maintenance
Lead abatement cleaning program
Flooring, facings and shooting stalls
Armoring of ceiling, floor and walls of firing range
Safety Doors
2. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Offeror shall ensure all personnel will receive personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper safety training IAW DL 81/08 and 626/94.1.3. In addition, offeror shall ensure the regulation, laws, or guidelines listed below are followed and posses valid credentials. The enterprise, according to Law n. 37, January 22, 2008, laying down rules for the safety of facilities, is permitted to installation, processing, expansion and maintenance of the systems referred to art. 1 Law 46/1990 and Ministerial Decree, as follows:

3. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Caserma Ederle and Del Din, Vicenza, Italy.
4. METHOD OF CONTRACTING AND AWARD: The method of evaluation will be clearly indicated in the Request for Proposal.
5. SOLICITATION PACKAGE: The complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website https://www.fbo.gov/ . The solicitation package and other pertinent documentation at that time must be obtained by visiting the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website.
6. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price Type.
7. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contract term is a one (1) year base (12 months) and one (1) Option Year (12 months), for a total potential contract period of twenty-four (24) months. The option year is not guaranteed.
8. SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS: If there are any applicable technical exhibits or drawings, it shall be provided in the upcoming Request for Proposal.
9. MEETING PLACE FOR PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: Regional Contracting Office, Via Della Pace # 197 (Vicenza). The date of the information to the interested companies will be communicated at a later time.
10. 11. MISCELLANEOUS: Offerors shall ensure that all contract correspondence or responses to this pre-solicitation notice are submitted in English.
12. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: In order to conduct business with the United States Government, all companies shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). When a company submits a proposal, it is mandatory that a valid copy of their company's System for Award Management (SAM) profile is attached.
