Synopsis:
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
Solicitation 1283A719Q0001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with an issue date of October 09, 2018 and a closing date of November 09, 2018 at 1:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time.
The attached solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect and will be made an integral part of any resulting contract. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 561720, with a small business standard of $33.5 M.
The Carson National Forest - El Rito Ranger District Office is soliciting quotations on a competitive basis from qualified organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract for Janitorial Services. Responses to solicitation 1283A719Q0001 must be in accordance with all specifications which can be found in the attached solicitation documents.
The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quotation represents the best value, conforms to the solicitation, and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other evaluation factors considered.
DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK
INTRODUCTION
Background:
The Carson National Forest is in need of janitorial services.
Scope of Contract (See attached solicitation documents, specifications, etc.)
The solicitation is for janitorial services on the Carson National Forest, El Rito Ranger District Office located at BLDG 1221, HWY 554, El Rito, NM 87530.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, quality control inspections, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals to perform all work necessary as described in the solicitation documents.
The solicitation contains one base year and four optional years that may be awarded by the Government subject to the availability of funding.
All aspects of the work program shall be performed in an organized, systematic manner to assure services are performed consistently.
This solicitation will result in a best value contract that is Firm Fixed Price and will be Performance Based.
The performance period will begin approximately in late fall 2018.

Contractors must be registered with the US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM.gov) in order to be considered for a Government contract.
