Opportunity Description:
These programs and services help Albertans develop skills, find and keep employment, manage their careers and adapt to the changing labour market. Within the Skills Investment Strategy, a number of programs have been developed, designed for the delivery of services to clients. The department recognizes that unemployed Albertans may need assistance to re-enter the work force, or to change to a currently suitable career path. It is also recognized that in some instances, Albertans may need short-term training or short courses to assist in that transition.
