Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
The Northern Arizona VA health Care system (NAVAHCS) is requesting for two items for their warehouse. This is a combined synopsis/ RFQ in which the two-line items that will be awarded separately. This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333318 with a small business size standard of 1,000 Employees.

Salient Characteristics
The above line items must have the following salient characteristics to be considered for award.
Pressing Power: Require at least 60 tons of pressing power for unit.
Motor: Require motor with at least 6.4 HP
Voltage: 480 V / 60 Hz
Loading Aperture: Request dimensions of 46-48 x 25-27 (WxH)
Bale Weight: Request bale maximum weight be no more than 1,300 lbs. (average dependent on material)
Bale Size: Request bale sizes of 46-48 x 42-44 x 46-48 (WxDxH)
Cycle Time: Cycle times of no more than 30 seconds.
Acoustic Levels: Request acoustic levels below 65 dB(A)

This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for products as defined herein.B B The government intends to award a purchase order or because of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
