Capacity Building Program for Child Care
Mandatory pre-bid meeting 05/19/2010.
The Program is seeking qualified organizations that
can build the supply of one or more of the following types of care:
Infant-toddler Care
School-age Care
Care during non-traditional hours
Care for disabled children
Care for mildly sick children
The initial contract term will be from the date of issuance until September 30, 2011. The Deparment, at its
sole discretion, may subsequently renew the contract three (3) times, subject to funding authority
and satisfactory performance, for terms of up to one (1) year each.
In this request for proposal the Department is seeking proposals to manage
the capacity building grant funds. An organization will be selected to publicize services and
solicit applications for funding, provide technical assistance and training, and manage the
provider grants.
