Capacity Additions
The work consists of reconstruction of an urban divided freeway including: two AASHTO Type V (modified) concrete girder bridges one over Interstate 10 and one over Union Pacific Railroad; one AASHTO Type VI concrete girder bridge over a utility corridor; five cast-in-place concrete box culverts and one precast concrete box culvert, retaining and sound walls, grading, furnishing and placing concrete and asphalt concrete pavement; drainage facilities, water and sewer relocations; relocation of other utilities; traffic signals, signing; pavement markings; lighting and surveillance equipment; landscaping and irrigation; and other work.
