Capacitance Bridge Upgrade
AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items for the purchase of Capacitance Bridge Upgrades to Andeen-Hagerling, Inc. Andeen-Hagerling, Inc. possess the proprietary rights to the details of the system design as well as the controlling software and interface designs for the Capacitance Bridge Upgrade. Therefore, based on market research conducted Andeen-Hagerling, Inc. is the only supplier that can offer the upgrade. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The anticipated quantity is 44 each in FY19 and with the option of up to 21 each in FY20. There is no guarantee that an option year will be exercised. The requirement is for Capacitance Bridge Upgrades in accordance with the Purchase Description and data requirements, which are available for download at this site.
The pre-solicitation number is FA2263-19-Q-A019 and shall be referenced on all correspondence submitted. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by AFMETCAL. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required item within fifteen (15) days of this publication.
