Canadian Communications Foundation Drupal Migration
Canadian Communications Foundation (CCF) is a non profit organization dedicated to documenting Canadian broadcasting history. The foundation runs the Broadcasting History website at http://broadcasting-history.ca/. The Foundation would like to migrate from its existing site to the Drupal content management system.
Project Goals
CCF is looking to convert its existing website from a custom set of PHP scripts, mixed with static HTML files to a Content Management System (CMS). Our current website requires significant technical intervention to keep content up to date. We would like to give our non-technical staff the ability to easily update site content through a web-based interface. We have identified Drupal as our preferred target for migration.
The CMS must also be ready for localization.
We would also like to explore the option of a website redesign to make it more appealing to new researchers and provide a responsive experience across multiple platforms. This should be provided as an additional line item in the quote, and may not be executed as part of this RFP.
