Purpose of the Integrity Audit
Camden Enrollment conducts an annual independent audit of its enrollment system to ensure that all policies set by its governing board are being followed. The audit provides an outside check on the integrity of the system in order to give participating schools and families confidence that their applications were handled fairly.
Scope of Project
Camden Enrollment seeks to engage an independent party to conduct an audit of the 2018 enrollment year. The auditor will examine and clean application data, analyze data to answer targeted research questions, and present the findings in an easily accessible format to be shared with school and family stakeholders and published on the Camden Enrollment website.
Possible questions for investigation may include:
Were all priorities applied in the correct order at each school?
Was any student assigned to a school for which they did not apply?
Was every student matched to their first choice school if there was available space?
Is there any evidence of unusual waitlist movement?
The independent auditor will:
Securely collect and clean data from Camden's common enrollment system
Work in partnership with Camden Enrollment to determine specific research questions and adapt them as necessary
Analyze data to answer a final set of research questions
Present findings with clarity and simplicity
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience analyzing complex data in an education context
Demonstrated experience presenting findings to the public
Experience working with common enrollment systems preferred
Proposal Requirements
Interested parties should respond to this RFP with a proposal that includes the following components:
Brief biographies of primary staff who will work on the project
Description of experience analyzing complex education data and any experience with common enrollment systems
Description of proposed approach for data collection, analysis, and presentation
Samples of previous data analysis work, including presentation for public audience
