Call for ISAP (Immigrant Settlement Adaptation Program) Conference Presentations
Citizenship and Immigration Canada is funding two upcoming ISAP Conferences in Niagara Falls at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel from November 3-6, 2008 and November 25-28, 2008. There will be two identical conferences allowing agencies to send a portion of their staff at a time to ensure uninterrupted client service. Those eligible to attend are staff and management from immigrant and refugee service provider organizations that deliver ISAP-funded programs (ISAP, JSW - Job Search Workshop, SWIS - Settlement Workers in Schools, and LSP - Library Settlement Partnerships).
We are calling on interested parties to give presentations that would target one or more of the delegate audiences on any of the indicated topics. Presenters may be from settlement agencies or other independent organizations whose work impacts the settlement of newcomers to Canada.
