California DWR RFP Notice for renewable energy and capacity

The California Department of Water Resources (CDWR) is soliciting Request for Proposals
(RFP) for renewable Energy and capacity, including attributes used to qualify for Resource
Adequacy, and all associated Environmental Attributes, including Renewable Energy Credits
(“RECs”), from wind facilities through one or more Power Purchase Agreements (PPA). The
Delivery Period shall be a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years, with delivery
commencing no later than April 1, 2013. Proposals must be based on Facilities (or proposed
share of Facilities) with a capacity of at least five (5) MW. The minimum annual amount is
15,000 MWh per PPA, and the maximum annual amount is 72,000 MWh per PPA.
